See your resume the way a parser does

A stream of text with the design stripped away. Your careful spacing, your two-column grid, the sidebar, the icons — none of it survives. What arrives is words in whatever order the parser managed to reconstruct, which is where the trouble starts: content laid out in columns or tables often comes out interleaved, so a job title from the left column can land next to a date from the right. Anything inside an image or a text box does not come out at all. Reading the plain-text version is the fastest diagnostic available, because it shows you the document employers actually receive.

Three things, in order. First, is everything there — if whole sections are missing, they were probably in a text box or an image, and that is a hard failure rather than a formatting nitpick. Second, are your job titles, employers and dates still grouped together correctly; if a date has drifted next to the wrong role, you have a column or table problem. Third, did your email address and phone number survive as readable text rather than being lost in a header. Fix any of those before you touch a single word of the content.

Your file is parsed in memory to extract its text and discarded the moment the result comes back. Nothing is stored, and the extracted text is never logged.
