How much does a resume tailoring tool cost?

The category is priced almost entirely by subscription, typically somewhere between $20 and $50 a month, which is a strange fit for the problem — job hunting is intense for a few weeks and then over, but the billing is not. Rezly is priced as credit packs instead: ₹99 or $9 for 15 tailorings, ₹499 or $19 for 60, ₹1,999 or $49 for 100 plus cover letters. That works out at roughly ₹6.60 or $0.60 a tailoring on the starter pack and less on the larger ones. Credits do not expire, so a pack bought during one search is still there for the next one two years later. The reason for the structure is simple: a subscription only makes money if you forget to cancel, and building a business on that means designing for forgetfulness rather than for results. There is nothing to cancel here.

Is there a free version, and what do you get?

Yes, and the free part is deliberately the useful part. Every account starts with one full tailoring — the complete rewrite, the diff of every change with its reason, and the export. Beyond that, scoring stays free forever: you can check as many job descriptions as you like against your resume and always see the match score, the ranked requirements you cover, the ones you do not, and the blunt verdict on whether the job is worth your evening. What costs a credit is the rewrite itself. The five free resume tools — ATS checker, match score, keyword scanner, bullet improver and the should-I-apply verdict — need no account at all. We do not blur the score to make you pay; a number you cannot verify is not worth charging for.

Why is the India price so much lower than the US price?

Because charging ₹4,000 a month for job-search software in a market where that is a meaningful fraction of a junior salary is not a pricing strategy, it is an exclusion. Most tools in this category price in dollars and let the conversion fall where it lands, which puts them out of reach for exactly the people running the highest volume of applications. Our INR pricing is set against local expectations rather than converted from the dollar figure: ₹99 for 15 tailorings is roughly the price of a coffee, and the ₹1,999 pack covers an entire search. Payments run through DodoPayments as merchant of record, so Indian cards, UPI-backed methods and local tax are handled properly rather than bounced by a foreign gateway. Same product, same credits, both currencies — just priced for the market it is sold in.

What happens if a tailoring fails or you want a refund?

If a tailoring fails partway through, the credit is returned automatically — you do not have to ask, and you do not pay twice to retry the same job. That is enforced in the code rather than in a policy document: the credit is spent before the rewrite starts and refunded on any failure path. For purchases, unused credits are refundable within 30 days, no questions and no retention call. Credits you have already spent on completed tailorings are not, because the work was done and delivered. If something has gone wrong, email support@userezly.app and a person will read it — there is no cancellation flow to survive, because there is no subscription to cancel in the first place. The full terms are on the refund policy page, written to be read rather than skimmed past.
