Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using userezly.app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What Rezly does

Rezly rewrites a resume you already have so it reads better against a specific job description. It shows you every proposed change with a reason, flags requirements your resume cannot support, and lets you accept or reject each change before exporting.

Rezly is not a resume builder. It does not write a resume from scratch, provide templates, or apply to jobs on your behalf.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• Provide accurate details and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• One person per account. Do not share or resell access.

4. Credits and pricing

• Tailoring costs 1 credit. Match scores and verdicts are always free and never require a credit.
• New accounts receive 1 free credit.
• Credits are sold in one-time packs. There is no subscription and nothing auto-renews.
• Credits never expire.
• Credits have no cash value except as described in our Refund Policy, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
• If a tailoring fails because of an error on our side, the credit is returned to you automatically.

Prices are shown in INR or USD before purchase. We may change prices for future purchases; credits you already hold are unaffected.

5. Payments

Purchases are processed by DodoPayments as merchant of record. Your contract for the payment itself is with them, and applicable taxes are handled at checkout.

6. Your content

Your resume is yours. You keep all rights to it and to any tailored version you export. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process it — to parse, store, and send it to our AI provider so we can produce the rewrite you asked for. That permission ends when you delete the content.

You confirm the resume you upload is yours, or that you have permission to use it. Do not upload someone else's resume without their consent.

7. Our honesty commitment

This one is a promise we hold ourselves to, not fine print protecting us:

• Rezly will not invent experience, skills, titles, dates, or metrics that are not in your resume.
• It flags gaps rather than papering over them.
• It will tell you when a job is not worth applying to.
• Your formatting is preserved — only the words change.

If you believe Rezly fabricated something, email us. We treat that as a serious defect.

8. What you must not do

• Misrepresent your qualifications, including by editing an exported resume to add experience you do not have. Rezly will not do this for you, and doing it yourself is your responsibility, not ours.
• Upload unlawful content, malware, or another person's data without permission.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, resell, or use the service to build a competing product.
• Abuse the free tier through bulk or automated account creation.
• Attempt to bypass credit limits or access other users' data.

9. What we do not promise

We are direct about this because the alternative is a dark pattern. Rezly improves how your resume reads against a specific job description. It cannot guarantee:

• that you will get an interview, a callback, or a job;
• that any particular applicant tracking system will parse or score your resume a given way — ATS behaviour varies by vendor and configuration;
• that the match score corresponds to a recruiter's judgement.

AI output can contain mistakes. Review every change before you export and send. The final document is yours, and so is responsibility for what it says.

10. Availability

We aim to keep Rezly running but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give notice and refund unused credits.

11. Liability

The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost job opportunities or lost earnings. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited, and it does not affect statutory consumer rights you may have.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction identified in the note at the top of this page, and disputes will be handled by its courts.

13. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms; if we do so without cause, we will refund unused credits.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email and the date at the top will change. Continuing to use Rezly after that means you accept the update. See also our Privacy Policy.
